Graduated from the Budapest University of Economics. Simultaneously studied at ELTE, Budapest University of Sciences. Attended courses of the MBA facilities of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
Has over 12 years experience in Public Relations, Public Affairs, media relations, and strategic corporate communication sided by company, team and project management experiences.
Has extensive experience with different industries, from blue chip FMCG companies through airlines, financial institutions, environment protection companies, consultancy firms and others. International experience in management and account work related to the CEE region, headed communication advisory activities in Hungary and the Czech Republic simultaneously.
Regular presenter on conferences, workshops. Lecturing experience with the College of Foreign Trade, CEU Business School, Duke MBA, IIR and others.
From 2004 to 2010, Director of Corporate Affairs, member of the board of directors at Provident Financial, in charge for internal and external communication, Public Affairs, media relations and Corporate Social Responsibility. In March 2010, Gergely joined British American Tobacco as Director of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, in charge for Hungary and Austria.
Active member of BCCH since 2004. Council member for 3 years, member of the Executive Committee for 2 years, from 2008 chairman of the organisation.
