COUNCIL OF BRITISH CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE IN EUROPE

The Austro-British Chamber (ABC) is a non-profit organisation that supports its members in their per-sonal, business and organisational interests in the UK, Austria and neighbouring countries. Value is created primarily through events, networking, information, and promotional opportunities. The ABC offers members the following services:

• news and information about Austro-British business
• assistance with special queries (suppliers, accountants, lawyers, tax, etc.)
• networking opportunities
• interesting and compelling events

To become a member, please send an email to the ABC or visit the organisation’s website at www.abchamber.org to fill out the application form you will find there. The ABC charges a modest membership fee of €200 for companies and organisations, €80 for individuals and €25 for students.

Events which have taken place have ranged from presentations of companies and various institutions to insightful talks on energy-related issues. These have provided an excellent platform for furthering the cause of Austro-British business, largely also thanks to considerable assistance which is received from the British Embassy here in Vienna. Having established itself in the heart of Vienna as a point of call for a significant number of entrepreneurial Britons and Austrians (many of the latter being highly Anglophile) it is the intention of the ABC to further broaden its appeal by co-operating with fellow Chambers located along the Danube.
