The British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 and today it is one of the most active among foreign chambers in Lithuania.

Main objectives:

  • promote business relations between the UK and Lithuania
  • provide a forum for an exchange of views among English speaking business people in Lithuania
  • create networking opportunities in Lithuania and the UK
  • represent economic interests of members

With growing interest in Lithuania from British businesses and also through constantly growing Lithuanian exports to the UK, the BCC membership has increased impressively, and today the Chamber has got the highest membership ever – 120 small- and medium-sized companies and individuals, operating in software development, investment, property development, hotel, transport & logistics, accounting, business consulting & training, tax & legal services, banking, manufacturing and other business fields. The Chamber today is fully capable of creating an efficient package of contacts through its membership to assist British newcomers to the Lithuanian market.

The British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania co-operates with the British Embassy Vilnius, the Lithuanian Embassy in the UK, Invest Lithuania and Enterprise Lithuania.

Since 2000 the Chamber has been a member of COBCOE (Council of the British Chambers of Commerce in Continental Europe).

  • monthly networking events, ‘Speaker’ meetings, breakfast technical briefings, seminars & social events
  • quarterly newsletter BCC paper, distribution and advertising opportunities

  • providing brief information on the Lithuanian market

The BCC Board is made up of eleven members from different business sectors. Board members are elected every two years at the AGM. The BCC office is managed by the Executive Director and a Membership Services Manager.

The Chamber constantly welcomes new members and offers four types of membership: Sponsor, Corporate, Group and Private. There are different packages of benefits offered according to the type of membership.
