Who are we
The Finnish-British Trade Association is the oldest trade association operating in Finland, founded in 1932. It is a not-for-profit organisation funded by annual membership subscriptions and revenue from various events held throughout the year. Our membership list comprises most of the large cap Finnish corporates and certain private individuals.
What are the advantages of joining the Finnish-British Trade Association
There are numerous advantages of joining such a well established trade association. As a member you will:
- gain access to the members’ section of our website which includes details of our forthcoming and most recent events, information about potential trade opportunities and contact details of all our members to assist you in networking within our organisation.
- have the opportunity to participate in certain joint events organised together with the British Embassy such as our popular series of seminars held in the Finnish regions, entitled “UK – Your Springboard to Global Growth”
- receive invitations to our popular luncheon meetings which provide a valuable platform for prominent guest speakers to voice relevant issues to a wide member audience. The topics covered invariably have a strong business theme, ranging from specific trade issues and opportunities to broader matters of economic policy and co-operation.
