LONDON | COBCOE Training Academy |The Chamber of Tomorrow
Is your organisation fit for the future? How can you ensure that you not only survive but thrive in the years to come?
This year, Nigel Tomlinson of Universal Projects (UP) Consulting will lead the two days of training on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 April.
Nigel has many years experience at senior levels in major corporates around the world and is now a consultant and visiting university lecturer in business studies. He is an experienced and engaging speaker and educator.
Nigel is also a leading light in the chamber movement. He joined the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce in 1997 as CEO (the youngest in the UK at 37 years of age) and oversaw its dramatic change in fortunes. It became the lead chamber in the UK for the provision of international trade, commercial training, enterprise support and overseas busines capacity building services.
Under Nigels' leadership, Sheffield Chamber won awards for excellence in international trade and commercial training, and was named UK Chamber of the Year in 2008. In both 2007 and 2009, it was a finalist in the World Chamber Awards. As a result of these successes, Nigel was selected to serve as a director of the British Chambers of Commerce in 2008.
If you would like to help your chamber reach new levels, or if you think that there could be challenging times ahead for your chamber, this year's Training Academy will give you the insights, strategies and tools you will need to navigate the future.
